	abstract = {Purpose of the research: Meaningful teaching and learning experiences should provide equitable, authentic learning opportunities. Today's increasingly diverse students seek alternative ways to complete tasks, often utilising technology. Immersive learning experiences can provide real-life contexts for training and deeper conceptual thinking. This study explores the use of immersive visualization to support equity, engagement and learning. Principle results: Approximately half of all students who participated remotely via recorded reality expressed that the experience allowed them to understand core concepts and engage with course content to enhance learning. Major conclusions: This study reveals the potential of immersive visualization to augment experiences and to enhance equity and engagement in tourism education.},
