abstract   bibtex
'The Veil of Unknowledge' is an English mystical text written at the end of the fourteenth century. The chief motive of this book is to do away with the veil of ignorance or provide the reader with means of escaping it. The aim is to escape the veil, moving toward Isis and truth. Lack of knowledge comes in various forms, and the most damaging is a complete lack of interest in knowing the ideas of others. Reasons individuals have for renouncing certain areas of knowledge are examined.
