[::Countries] Native:China (Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Nei Mongol); Korea, Democratic People's Republic of; Korea, Republic of; Russian Federation (Amur, Primoryi, West Siberia) [::Population] There is no detailed population information available for this species. [::Habitat and Ecology] A tree to 30 m, this species grows in temperate rainforest. This species appears to be drought sensitive, it needs deep, rich and moist soils. [::Use and Trade] The wood is straight grained, coarse textured, and cracks easily; it is used for making carrying poles and for fuel and charcoal. This species is reported to be seldom cultivated.
