Revisiting Aquinas on Providence and Rising to the Challenge of Divine Action in Nature [link]Paper  abstract   bibtex
The article explores how the doctrine of providence by philosopher and theologian Thomas Aquinas fulfills all the criteria set by a debate on the divine action in nature. It outlines the dynamic moments of God acting in and through natural agents. It explains ways in which Aquinas understands that God can be attributed with an effect of another agent. It reveals the claim of Aquinas that God is universally present in all things and events.
