The active compensation technique for the finite gain bandwidth of opamps is used to obtain a universal constant gain variable phase 3-port VCVS building block. Any of two proposed equivalent active compensating blocks is used for implementing the universal block. The 3-port network is suitable for phase correction in two-integrator loop filters especially in the Kerwin-Huelsman-Newcomb biquadratic filter section. Experimental results are included.
