A digital volume holographic database in iron-doped lithium niobate to be read out by a multi-wavelength signal in the near infrared is performed using the two-color technique. Three-bit digital words are recorded via angle multiplexing at 488 nm and retrieved at 1550 nm by a 200 GHz-WDM beam. Each WDM communication channel accesses and reconstructs just one stored digital word written by angle-multiplexing.
