In the present work, computer modelling of hybrid electromagnetic system with magnetic flux modulation is carried out. The influence of different types of control coils on the operation of the device has been investigated. The modelling has been performed using the finite element method by solving coupled electromagnetic field ' electric circuit problem. Results for electromagnetic field and input / output characteristics of the studied system have been obtained. Comparison of the results for different control coils is made.
