doi  abstract   bibtex
The purpose of research on future learning scenarios aims at proper\nexploitation of the pedagogical possibilities of the personal, social\nand institutional learning environments (LMS), especially to define\nteaching and learning methodologies for these new integrated virtual\nenvironments more, open and innovative.\nThe approach is that institutions of higher education cannot exploit the\nteaching and learning virtual environments in the near future relying\nsolely in the institutional environments. They will require open,\nflexible and innovative environments to integrate the personal, social\nand institutional environments. For this purpose, not only the\neducational approach used should be modified regarding virtual\nenvironments experiences, but the importance of personal and\ninstitutional management systems, the teaching process control by the\nuser, the shared spaces, the collaborative learning organization and the\nincorporation of methodologies centered in the student, have all to be\nconsidered.\nTo better understand the research on learning scenarios and their\nimplications, this research is situated in the context of the current\nresearch agenda related to Educational Technology.
